ABS Brakes 850 1993

I have been having my ABS engage on light to moderate braking occasionally. First I suspected a frozen rear caliper. Replaced the rear calipers with complete rebuilt calipers. Replaced front pads, turned rotors, and installed new front brake lines. My car has 82,000 miles and I am the original owner. Any way after all that work, the ABS still engages periodically. Checked for fault codes and received 111, no codes. No ABS light on dash when this occurs either. Went one step fruther and purchased rebuilt front calipers with new hardware and new pads again. Installed them, and still have ABS engaging.

My next hunch would be to replace the ABS pickups on the front wheels before replacing the entire ABS module. I am not sure that the module is at fault since the ABS light is not on, and their are no fault codes. My bet is a bad sensor. What do you guys think? Oh yeah, this occurs entirely random. on about 1 in 15 braking uses. No differance hot, cold short trip long drive etc.
