PVC system excessive pressure blown turbo 850 1994

Hello all-

I am packing up my turbocharger for a rebuild- the blue smoke from the tailpipe and oil from the intercooler told me I can't ignore the PVC excessive pressure any longer.

When I yanked the turbo, I found the oil return pipe to be fine.

The oil filler cap, dipstick tube, and oil cooler were all leaking. Yes I'm a jerk for ignoring it. For some bizarre reason the rear main doesn't appear to be leaking (probably because of all the other leaks).

The mystery part in the intake tubing, right at the turbo inlet, was caked in old oil crud on the OUTSIDE. The larger opening (pvc side) was clear, the smaller nipple (vacuum) was clogged.

The larger tube connected to this mystery part that routes back under the intake and eventually the rest of the PVC system is broken somewhere under the distributor. Looks like the intake is coming off next so I can replace the rest of the PVC system.

Any hints/commentary/side remarks before I start this?

I'm using the Waco, Texas Majestic Turbo for the rebuild. They quoted $325 on the phone for rebuilding my EPA nightmare.

Thanks for any input-
-Dylan
