tranny swap 850

I'm new to the 850 group, so sorry if this has been asked before:

Can I swap a manual tranny into an automatic 850 (if the whole donor car is available)? If so, will a manual from a non-turbo 850 (the only available, I think) handle the higher power of a turbo motor? Do they use different trannys for the NA and turbos in Europe?
