Rougfh Idle

I've just had the engine replaced in my 1995 850. Now when I start the car from cold it rough idles at about 500 RPM. Once I start driving the car and the engine heats ups, the idle speed begins to creep up until it settles at 1100 RPM.

Any ideas?
