Rough engine sound 850 1992

Hi,

My car has started to sound really strange when I start it cold.
The engine sounds rather like a "racing car", very rough and loud.
After couple of minutes of driving the rough sound is gone and the
engine sounds normally. When I turn it off and then on again,
it's still normal.

Any ideas?
