850R Front Spoiler 850 1997

I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a repair for this thing. Last winter I hit a black ice patch and it cracked the left side of the spoiler. I had it professionally fixed and repainted but then the crack just showed up again. This spoiler is hella expensive to replace, but I dont want a cyclical process of having my car in the shop, since I need to drive to work every day. It is impossible to avoid all the dips and parking lot exits in order to keep it pristine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. THX
