850 power steering pump leak

I have a sudden and pretty severe fluid leak in power steering pump area of my 95 850. There is fluid all over the front of the engine and maybe an ounce or two on the floor of the garage. In the archives I saw a couple other posts that suggest replacing the "o rings" but no details.

I don't know how PS works but it looks like there are high pressure and low pressure hoses going into the pump. The low pressure hose is dry and clean, the high pressure is wet/oilly (just like everything else around there). So my guess is the connection on the high pressure hose is leaking.

Some questions:
- Is there any more to this than opening up the connections and replacing seals? Any tricks to taking it apart?
- Are the seals a "dealer item"?
- The alternator is covered with fluid, is that going to be a problem? How to get it clean?
- Guess I should replace the accessory belt (dang! it's 2 months old!) and check the timing belt to be sure it's dry (???) (also 2 months old!!)

Hardly room to get a hand in there - I'm spoiled working on the 240 where I can practically climb into the engine compartment to work.

Terry
