I'm taking our V70 in for service on Wednesday. The transmission has not been right since day 1. When you hold the accelerator to the floor, the Tachometer goes to 6700rpm. That's well into the "red zone". During normal driving when you let off the Accelerator, like coasting down a hill, then step back on the gas, the transmission doesn't know what gear it's needs to be. it downshifts & upshifts before it settles down. Now the transmission intermittnly won't pick-up 2nd gear. If you are pulling away from a stop with slight throttle pressure it "slips" going into the higher gear, you have to back off the Throttle & try it again.
I read a previous post that Volvo won't admit the problems exist?
Does anybody have a TSB for this problem?
The car only has 5,000 miles.
The dealer has already blown me off once, by saying "It's your driving style, not the car"!
HELP!!!
