PNP SWITCH? (I know so many of these questions)... 850 1995

I dont know if this is normal, as my friend's 96 doesnt do this, but when i put my foot on the brake at start-up, so that i can shit from P, i hear a click noise coming from the shifter area. Also, when i put the car in park for a second tonight, the winter arrow came on . The arrow did not flash as i have heard when pnp switches are the problem. Any ideas? Thanks
