To All,
I had my first battery failure [ away from home of course with daughter in car ] in 25 years of driving. How come these batteries do not give some
warning starts so you can run and get a battery? Is it that the car senses
a low voltage and allow only the accessories and stuff you be functional?
It seems many of these Volvo OEM's go at exactly 45-56 months of ownership.
Just shy of the warranty. Ray you were right on the money. You mentioned
this many a time here.
Went to an Interstate Dist in Brooklyn. Purchased an MT-47
for $ 83 and change. They opened at 7:30am, got the battery, drove home,
popped in Megatron, entered radio code, and was sipping coffee at 9:00am.
A bad thing was minimized some what.
Moral of the story : OEM battery = 45 months change it ASAP ! Learn from me.
Don't try to stretch it.

A Happy And Healthy To All!!!!
