heater core leak?? V70-XC70

Lvinig in North Florida, I don't use the heater very often. However, When I turn it on I get the "leaky heater core odor" for about 3 or 4 minutes, and then everything smell normal.

I have visually inspected the plastic casing around heater core and found no evidence of a leak. No wet carpet either..

Any ideas?
