I would like to get opinions of volvo owners about the 1999xc. My family are about to move to a heavily winter region and in the market to buy an awd vehicle that is capable of threading through winter conditions. I have heard and read so much about technical issues and how often owners take the vehicle to a shop for repairs. Is this car a lemon? I found a model that I really liked but am now discouraged about the long list of recalls and service bulletins about this model year. Any information is greatly appreciated.
