HI All,

New member here and I have a question for you. Took the Volvo 850 into the dealer today for a simple alignment. They came back and told me that they couldn't align it because my control arms and tire rod ends are shot. Quoted me $1000. Does this sound about right? Also, is there anyway I can test to see whether I really need these replaced or do I just have to take the dealer's word for it?
