Last night I tried the O2 sensor quick fix from OzBrick:

I have been looking into some performance and mileage loss causes and thought I would give this a try.
Did the entire process to both O2 sensors, took it for a test drive, ran great until it warmed up and I floored it to check my boost levels. Ran hard bursts two times, at the next light sputtered and died. When I try to start it, it runs for just a second then completely dies. Continued start attempts gave same results.
1) The front sensor has slits in it that are about half an inch long. When cleaning the sensor with the wire(brass) brush some of the wire brush went through the slots on the side. Could I have disturbed the internal components?
2) What are the chances I've destroyed both Sensors and not just the front?
3) Could I have done any greater damage, than the sensors, while driving or repeated attempts at starting?
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Oliver.
