Our 1994 850 wagon has 113K mile on and over the past several months has stalled without warning. Usually the stalling is at very low speeds or at idle. The car will run for hours on the highway. The when restarted may stall while driving down the road or stall when first driven in the morning. The car has been looked at by our Volvo mechanic several times but the problem is can not be replicated on demand.
I have read past threads and it may be:
1. The battery
2. The fuel pump relay
3. Spark plug wires (these were checked)
3.A wire to the fuel pump in the back of the car.
I almost bought a battery today, but I need more info because now I am thinking new fuel pump relay. Any help/comments are appreciated!
