Searching for a shop...getting reamed? 850 1996

Looking for a place to get work done on my newly acquired 850T, the first place I took it to quoted me around $250 for cv boot (not axle) replacement, and around $500 for rear pads/rotors replacement plus flush. I feel like I'm getting reamed...am I wrong?
