a/c condenser S40 1983

I confess, i don't know much about Volvo's, It's my first foreign (to the US)car. But i just got a really good deal on an 1983 240 dl. But the A/C leaks water into the passenger side carpet. I believe the drain from the condenser is either pressed against the body, or simply pinched off. Can anyone suggest the simplest method to get to it to fix the problem?
