widest tires possible on a t5r 850

I am in the market for new tires and want that wide look but also understand that is not always the best choice for handling. I have the 17" titans but I am not sure what the rim width is?(If anyone knows please let me know) I want to go at least 225/45/17 but would like to know if it is possible to go to 235 or even 245 with those rims, keeping in my I won't drive this in the snow. Thanks, kevin
