Shock sensor installation?

Hey guys,

Anyone out there ever installed shock sensors on their cars? My GF's uncle got his car jacked and stripped to the bone last week and he lives across the street from her (For people in CA, car stolen in Carson and found in San Diego)! My car is right there (knock on wood in case anything should ever happen to my car). But I'm freaking paranoid now. If anyone has done this and can give me any hints on how and where to intall it, much appreciated. TIA.
