Greetings, our '98 V70 base w/254K miles on it usually runs like a top. Lately, though, it has stalled on occasion. Usually happens after a short drive; the car has warmed up, been driven five minutes, parked, and started again within five minutes. The car needs more work than is worth to get it "in shape," to the tune of about $1500 at my local independent mechanic, and has body rust that prevents me from passing it on in good conscience. I can drive it to and from work and around town without worry, and it has been reliable in that role. I'd like to keep doing that, with minimal investment in keeping it running. It's been 55K miles and about 9 years since distributor cap/rotor, plugs, and wires were changed. I also think I recall a fuel relay being a possible culprit. A google search re: the issue says that bad plugs/distributor/rotor may make the car fail to start or run roughly, which does not seem to be happening. Where should I look first, or could there be another easy-fix culprit? Thanks
