Okay, I have tested enough to determine the rear haldex motor is fried. So now comes the fun of removing the axle from the rear diff with the Haldex motor, type 2 haldex. What is the trick I am missing? I removed the allen bolts from the front of the axle and it will not disconnect from the big steel monster that is blocking me from getting iron ring that blocks the haldex motor out of the way. I can tell someone tried before as the filter was replaced, but the motor is original... not to mention the bang marks everywhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Right now, I'm seriously missing the 240 days!
Thoughts! Advice? Ideas to keep me out of the loony bin?
