Well, I finally cleaned up all of my engine oil leaks last Fall. Now, I found a drip on the tranny side. It appears to be PS fluid, it has completely covered the right side of the tranny, and judging from the dirt, it has been leaking for many years.
I cleaned up some of the muck off the side of the tranny (right side), but didn't clean off the hard lines to the rear of the tranny.
Rather than replace the rack, I thought I would try some Lucas Stop Leak.
The question I have is how to add the Stop Leak. There is no reservoir to speak of, just a couple of ounces to keep the air out of the system. Am I supposed to suck out an ounce or two, add the same amount of Stop Leak, turn the engine over to pump the fluid, and repeat?
Any words of wisdom are appreciated, thanks.
