Heater controls V70-XC70

Both the 2004 V70 (165K) and the 2003 XC (115K) do not seem to control
the heat properly. When you start the car the heat control seems to work (set for 68F),but 30 minutes later it is blowing cool air, both sides. If you crank the heat up it will become warm. I have vaccuumed the air sensor inlet ....
no improvement. The AC is set to manually off. Both cars seem to have the same condition.
