Green slime to fix very slow leaks? 850 1996

OK, by now you should know I'm a minimalist. Three of the four tires on my '96 850 wagon (~350K miles) had a very slow leak (could not detect by immersing the entire wheel in water), to where I had to add air every two weeks or so. I did notice that my rims are starting to "bubble up" under the paint, so I'm guessing that there might be some corrosion that's causing these leaks. I added 16 oz of green Slime into each tire, and replaced the valve cores. Voila, no more leaks. Question is: is my tire guy going to be mad at me for putting this stuff in my tires come August/September when I need new tires???

Thanks,

Bernie
