I'm having a problem with the seat memory function that my dealer has so far been unable to resolve. It usually happens like this: Drver #1 using key #1 drives the car and locks it with Key #1; the seat is set for Driver #1. The car is unlocked with Key #1 and is manually put into position #2 so driver #2 can drive car still using Key #1. The car is parked for the night with the seat still in position #2 but is not locked. The next morning Driver #1 using Key #1 manually moves seat back to Position #1 and drives car using Key #1. The car is parked with the seat in Position #1 and is locked using Key #1. When the car is unlocked with Key #1 and the door opened, the seat moves to position #2 automatically. In at least one case this happened even though the car had been driven using Key #1 more than 2 times with no readjustment of the seat. It seems as though the seat is recalling something rom its "long term memory." Incidentally, the lights temporarily refused to flash when locking the doors with Key #1. The locks worked but no flash. This resolved itself after about 12 locking / unlocking cycles. I sure hope I'm not not looking at elecıronic spooks. I haven,t had this much fun since I gave up my TR-4 years ago. Thanks for tolerating such a long post.
