Hit a few potholes, at speed, today. The low coolant light came on after hitting the last pothole.
The coolant level in reservoir is ok, near max mark. The temp gauge reading hasn't changed, reads middle of range.
Turned ign off, then on; thought this might cause light to go off, it didn't. Next I disconnected battery for a 1/2 hour thinkin this might cause ecu computer to reboot and cancel problem msg, this did not work and light still goes on.
Is this a job for the Dealer, or is it something simple I can do?
Also, which over-the-counter brands of antifreeze can be used without causing harm to the radiator.
Thanks,
JJ
