I personally hate the idea of a Interference Engine...anyway,
I was wondering could a 10 Valve head be bolted straight onto a stock US 5 cylinder engine of the same model year and an US Market ECU (performance or stock) be used?
I am thinking that a "Boost Dependent" Engine could be built that is rugged, non-interference and that relies strictly on a very efficient Turbo (aftermarket, Ceramic ball bearings?) for aspiration VS. a combination of 4 Valve head and Turbo boost.
Just pondering, any opinions on this are appreciated!
...and yes I am aware of the special exhaust valves the Turbo engines use!
