I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out. I know the 94 850 wheels up to the 2000 S/V70 wheels are all interchangeable, but what about later model S/V70's? I have a 2004 V70, and I would like to put a set of 1994 850 alloys on it, but I cant find definitive knowledge that they will come close enough to the offset without causing issues. I also have a set of steelies with snows from my 98 XC70 that I would like to use on the 04 V70. I think the bolt pattern is the same. I just never see later model wheels on earlier 850's or S70's. If you look at the various places on the web, some list them as being the same, and other sources show the wheels as being different? I know I could just try to bolt them up and see what happens, but I dont want to do that and get on the highway a realize that it was a bad idea when I am 500 miles from home. Anyone have the answer?
