Hello again everybody. I was just out for a ride in our 2000 xc. When all of a sudden when we slow down to make a turn we hear, and feel, a loud clunk coming from the center of the car. It happened fairly consistantly. I can feel it pretty good with my arm resting on the center console/armrest. And there is also a new noise that i beleive has to be related to this. We were dring home tonight and we were on the freeway and could hear a faint high pitched sound. I asked my wife how to describe it and the closest thing we could come up with it sounding like was if we were dragging a chain behind us. It was very faint, to the point that if the radio was on you probly wouldn't hear it. This car is starting to frustrate me!!
