Service Light Reset for 2000 V40 S40-V40 2000

FYI, the same procedure for resetting the service light for the 99 S/V70 cars works for the 2000 S/V40 cars. You don't have to go to the dealer to get the light reset if you change your own oil. Here's the procedure:

Press and hold odometer reset button.

Turn ignition switch to "run" position.

After SRL flashes, release odometer reset button (you'll hear a "beep").

Turn ignition off, then back on to confirm reset accepted.
