The lambda light comes on almost every time i stand still at e.g. a traffic light, with the engine idling for a longer time.It always clears after a couple of driving cycles so i guess its not THAT big a problem, however it is very annoying and it is not a good thing if you get used to the light coming on if another serious problem should occur.
The car has been at the dealer a couple of times with no result. Some ignition parts have been changed (plugs, rotor etc.) and some cleaned ECU connector and so on. Error code say "misfire on one or more cylinder" and the coreesponding "misfire on cyl #1,2,3,4,5" respectively.
Does anyone have a clue? BTW, the car is a GLT 2.5 20V
Well, while i am at it i might as well ask a few more questions:
2. The car is "USA equipped" which is probably an options package. The alarm fitted does not generate visual (or beep) confirmation, flashing lights when you lock/unlock. Is there a way to do this by reprogramming?
3. The front suspension creakes when driving over bumps. Normally i understand this is due to the sway bar mounts but i do no believe this is the case here. The sound seems to originate from the top of the strut. If you fiddle with the rebound protection "thingy" it makes the same sound when you move it around. Again, any ideas why this occurs or what to do?
