I noticed this once or twice before in my new-to-me '98 S70 T5M. The battery (charge) light flashed when the car was cold and at low revs. This morning was colder then it's been lately (~1C) and the light flashed on probably 5-7 times as I was driving out my road (all under 2500 RPM and 35 kph). It would only come on for a spilt second and then go out again (yes I'm positive it was the red charge light). Also I noticed the climate control fan seemed to be going up and down in speed (on auto setting). I don't know if this was just the auto climate control or if there was a voltage drop or something. The lights were on, the climate control was on, driver's heated seat and stereo. Anyway, obviously I haven't done any testing yet, but I've read here that it's unlikely it's the alt and maybe a battery cable? Or maybe it's just some sort of fluke. As a note; Since I bought the car it doesn't get driven every day. I drove the V90 yesterday and the S70 just sat in the driveway if that means anything. Anyway, thanks in advance for any insight!
PS - The car has just over 112K km on it and the battery is a Volvo one which appears only to be a year or two old.
