I had the update done a few months ago. Prior to that i had no engine problems and had the ETM (orig.) replaced about 1 yr. ago. Since the s/w upgrade when starting the engine in the am, the rpm jumps to about 1200, down to 900, jumps around a little. when put in Drive and throttle applied, i get a little delay and then what seems to me, an over acceleration for a few seconds. After that and for the rest of the day, normal. temp. does not seems to be a factor as i'm in NY and this occurs on any day, any temp. i don't believe it's the ETM itself as it worked great until the s/w upgrade. any ideas? thanks much.
