THe wifes 2000 XC has had the abs and traction control lights on alot lately.. The last time the dealer didn't see any failure codes! the problem was still interemitent then... I think it is solid on now and after getting it instpectied for here today I dropped by the dealer to see whats up? maybe some codes would show... I am always pissed when I take this oil leaky $$ peice of sh.it in for service. I told him the only good thing was we are about to buy a new car. They take it in and they charge 55$ to check it out and as they were bringing it to the car wash area they noticed the check engine light was on they said. So they check things again and find the speed sensor or something is coded out as well. So they say the ABS module is out 860 plus install for a cool grand! And he tells me the speedo might not work... So after paying 55$ I now have no speedo. no odo, the check engine light is bright on and the ABS light is on and the Brake light is on..
I think my resale value just dropped to about 500$

I was so pissed I went back in and complained and wanted it back the way I brought it in.. he says we need to fix the ABS module first and go from there.. I thought about driving it int othe bridge on the waY HOME.. bUT MAYBE THE AIR BAGS ARE TURNED OFF?? wtf
pLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE... i NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS BITHC AND nO volvo VFOR ME EVER AGAIN!!! WE BOUGHT IT NEW.
