Have a 96 850 GLT. I was repalceing the rear brake pads and wanted to replace E-brake ads as well. Couldn't get the rotor off to do this. I backed off the cable from under the center console and through the e-brake adjustment hole on the rotor itself but still wouldn't budge. I did remove the small rotor retaining screw as well. Any ideas?
In the meantime I just adjusted both sides best I could and tighten cable till there was a little resistance and then backed off a bit.
Any help greatly appreciated.
