ABS Controller S70 1998

Just had a very successful experience doing business with Victor Rocha in California. Victor repairs ABS Controllers for a fraction of the repair shop price of $700-$800 to install a new (possibly rebuilt) one. I live in NY State and Victor's turn around time was 5 business days. I had to live without ABS (which did not work anyway) and no speedometer or odometer for the 5 days. (no big deal).
For $145.00 plus $6.00 to ship it to Victor I got a rebuilt unit and re-installed it in ten minutes. (It took me about 35 to take it out). You do need a special E5 Torx 1/4 inch socket to take it out (NAPA had it). Immediately took the car on a 1200 road trip and the ABS system and brakes worked just as as they should have when a car pulled in front of us in Ohio. Highly recommend Victor and, his instructions are great. You can reach him via his Web site. He guarantees his work for one year. http://home.earthlink.net/~vicrocha/Volvo_Parts/Volvo_V70_ABS.htm
DO NOT hesitate to do this yourself.
