97 850 Sedan Alarm Problem (Electrical?) 850

all day yesturday and this morning my 850 sedan will flash its turn signals as though the car is being locked. this happens every couple of minutes even after the car is locked. seems like a short circuit or something would cause this but i wouldn't even know where to begin. anyone have this problem before or could provide some insight on this situation?

the alarm is working fine except for this problem that came out of the blue.
