Transmission Code 322

My 1994 850 Turbo wagon just stopped moving.
I had driven it, stopped for a few minutes and when I started it up again it would not move in reverse. I rev'ed the engine and it clunked into reverse to let me back up. Then I put it in drive and had to rev the engine again to get it to move forward. Drove it a short ways and called the tow truck. While I was driving it the down shift arrow was flashing and the check engine light came on.
I pulled the codes and there were two; A1 322 and A2 453.
The tranny has fluid but a bit dark.
Since the code 322 was set, incorrect gear ratio, I'm thinking that maybe the problem is the TCU?
Anyone have any ideas?
