Going from 850 T-5 to S 70, need input

Now driving '97 T-5 with 170k. Looking to get into S 70, probably T-5, possibly AWD. What are the known issues of the later model S70's and are they as reliable as 850s.

Thanks !

Watch out for newer models that use VADIS. VADIS eliminates everyone but the dealer for simple maintenance tasks or even replacing broken window switches. The awd was "fixed" after 2001, but check out problems with ETM.
Also look at E320 Mercedes?

Just as reliable...maybe even more so. Volvo evidently worked out a bunch of bugs in the 850 with the S70...but I would avoid AWD if I were you. They are prone to problems. Look for a S70 T5 model year, 1998. These do not have the dreaded ETM's which all will break and will cost about $1000 to replace. Good luck!
