    Greetings,

i replaced the pnp switch(it was full of grease etc inside)and no more no-crank problem, also sends signal for backup lights ,i think,

You can try re-adjusting the PNP switch and see if it straightens out your starting/reverse light problem, but most of the time the switch just goes bad and you'll need to replace it. There's a how-to over at Bay 13 on the PNP switch. You can loosen the retaining nuts and put the gearshift lever in Reverse with the key ON and the emergency brake ON, turn the PNP switch till the reverse lights come on, doesn't take much. If the reverse lights still won't come on then the PNP is just crapped out and needs to be replaced.

The PNP switch is the thing under the yellow nut and it has the red tag on it....

Gwelfmike--my friend's 96 T-wagon had both backup lights out as of two days ago. I told him about it, because he hadn't had his wife walk around to the back and check (what wife would?). With both backup lights out, the dash bulb failure light on the dash doesn't always light up. If one or the other, yes, because the circuit is unbalanced, but if both are out, the circuit is balanced and hence, no warning light. Replace both and see if they work. Dick

You need new PNP switch. For flickering dash light, you will need to replace key switch ignition unit by steering wheel.

Not sure about not starting in park, but these cars are prone to go through bulbs like crazy. Have you tried replacing the bulb in the back?
