two quick questions V70-XC70 2001

My mom and dad have jumped into the volvo family with both feet and now have a 98 S70 and a 2001 V70. My dad has been able to work on the S70 and has noticed the differences between the two years. He asked me where the cabin air filter is and also how to change out the spark plugs, saying that the he couldn't even locate the cabin air filter in the 2001 and that the spark plugs in the 2001 had some wiring or metal on top of them. Can you please tell me where the filter is and the proceedure for changing the spark plugs? Thanks, George

    You need to learn about Bay 13 site. This great site will help you a lot

    For the 2001, follow the S80 filter instruction. The older one is the top instruction.
    The 2001 also has a coil on plug design. When you get in there, under the plastic cover, take a photo of the wiring layout for reference. There's one or two confusing spots. After that, taker off each coil by pulling them straight up, one at a time, after removing the small bolt, and find plug underneath.
