98 S70 T5 - Oil Dipstick - LOST, NEED MEASUREMENTS S70

My oil dipstick broke and I have an opportunity to buy another one, but we're not sure it's the exact same size. Could someone measure the metal portion of the part for me? Please confirm whether it is 22 1/2" or not.

      Someone else posted about this same thing recently...check out http://www.brickboard.com/AWD/index.htm?id=972011 I believe the 850's and S70 dipstick are exactly the same size. Also good deal on them either at fcpgroton.com or borton.com.

      Mine has broken in the past too but superglue seems to be doing fine in regards to holding the top plastic together (had to de-grease it first).

        Mine broke on my 98 V70GLT I replaced it with the new style, but it needed a new tube for the new stick. Ordered it from Tasca Volvo. Simple to change.
