Engine Swap 850 automatic engine swap with 850 manual transmission engine????

I have an 850 2.4 with manual transmission, and I have had some problems see other post (overheating engine...anyway I am trying to look at all my option, I found the same engine but out of an automatic equipped ca, will the engine interchange. I know the piolet bearing will be required in the crank shaft,

    You are looking to stay with the M56 trans in that car right? If so then yes it should swap right over so long as you stuff in a pilot bearing and you flywheel I do not see any reason why not.
