anybody have any idea's why I would be getting exhaust fumes inside my car when I crack the windows or sunroof? Exh. system has been check (with smoke)for
leaks and found none.

I have had the oil seperator replaced it was making a nasty stink.

It could be the exhaust gas recirculation system - check all your hoses under the hood for leaks.

If you have the recycle switch on and the center fresh air control off, no outside air will be coming into your car. When you crack a window or the sunroof, the air pressure at the front of the car will draw air out of the cabin and the flow-through vents will suck air in from the back of the car. Physics at work. The owners manual says that the recirculation switch should always be off, unless you are trying to cool down the car in a hurry, or see a dead skunk on the road.
