Hi all. A few months ago I posted about having a great deal of work done to my 1996 850 wagon and when I got it back had a number of problems occur. One of which was that three of my tires went withing a two week period. All three the tires were severly worn on the inside. They were failry new tires so we did not see the wear until the tires went. Even during the time the car was being repaired and tires rotated, the mechanic ( a volvo mechanic) did not comment on any unusual wear. We ended up having to replace all four tires.
Well last week someone ran a light and hit my poor car. When the mechanic where my car was towed assessed the damages, he noted that both front tires had severe wear on the inside. This is the second set that this has happened to.
My question is this, being that the volvo mechanic that fixed my car back in feb did not notice anything unusual when he rotated the tires and this is the secind time my tires have gone bad, is it possible the mechanic did anything wrong when he repaired my car? Back then I had ball joint repair.
I have a small baby and I am afraid to drive this car now.
