Freon for charging Air conditioning 850

How and where do I buy cans of freon to charge my 1995 850 A/C?
Used to do my cars years ago when you could get the 12oz cans of R-12 at any auto store. I still have the hose and gauges.

Freon for charging Air conditioning.... R134 .... Walmart 850

The best place I've found lately is Walmart. You can get the whole kit for $20 and it comes with a can of R134. Or just get the can with the gauge and hose already on it. The low pressure fitting is up in front of the right side strut tower, should have a black plastic screw on cover on it. Watch out for the serpentine belt if the motor is running.

Doesn't your car use R134A? You can't get R12 retail, but in some states (including IL) you can get R134A readily at auto parts stores.

Your old hoses will not work on the new R-134 fittings. I am a shop owner so I buy the stuff in 30LB. jugs but from what I understand you can still buy R-134 cans at your local auto parts stores.

Should be available in any auto parts store. The price doubled overnight and they're now about $12-13 per 12 oz can. A completely empty 850 system takes two cans.
