850 Parking Brake Adjustment

HOw do I adjust the parking brake at the wheels?
I know about the hole in the drum and the adjuster mechanism in there.
Do I rotate the "star wheel" upward or downward?
Is it the same on both sides?
I am familiar with older US brakes that used the same adjusting system and I know that the rotation was different on each side of the car, or so I recall.

The parking brake adjustment is made from inside the car. The access to the tensioner is under the tray inside the console directly behind the hand brake lever.
