sun roof's cloth is falling down 850 1994

I have a 94'850 GLT and the sun roof's cloth is falling down. What is the best adhesive to put it into place?

Hello...
I successfully reaffixed almost my entire headliner (sunroof included) that came loose due to a change of climate/relocation about 8 years ago in my 760.
Yes, you can fix it using an aerosol adhesive, but this tends to be only a temporary solution. To fix it permanently you can brush on a thin layer of
non-toxic contact cement (the white stuff) to the panel (not the headliner fabric), allow to dry for about an hour and then carefully rub the headliner fabric back into it's original place.

The Volvospeed site has a good description about how to take the slider out. It seems like alot of work. If you're careful though you can just pull the fabric off except for the back, cover everything in the car you don't want glued and spray away. Have some good ventilation. You won't be able to turn the edges around but it's seemed to have worked OK for me so far.

There is a spray glue that works. I think 3M has one. Not an uncommon problem.

3M Super 77. It allows for some quick repositioning. 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray does not (bonds on contact).
(not for sale in Canada)
