Dashboard Problems Passenger Side Fixed in 1 Hour S70

Hello everyone,

If you remember, a couple of weeks ago I posted a message about my dashboard problem and the solution the dealer offered to me even with the extended warranty - basically nothing.

Well, I read every reply and carefully did open the black cover below the winshield and tighted all 4 bolts. The noise is gone. I can't believe what it took to fix it. I would like to thank everyone of you for the clear and exact steps to take to fix this.

Thank you very much. You have been very helpful.

Arian

can you give us non DIY'ers how to remove do this. Did you remove the windshield wippers and take that cap off? What about the two water drain connections, do they have to be detached. Does the black coller have to be removed completely or just lifted up for access. What about these four bolts do they hav plastic clips that may be broken?

      Keef,

I had to take the wippers with a normal ranch. I disconnected the drains, took off all the black cover and I saw the bolts. I tighted the two that are by far most in the passanger side. I did not even mess with the one by the driver side since I don't have any problems with that side.

It worked fine. Just a little patience and you can do it. I could tell the bolts needed to be tight since I rotated them a couple of times.

      I hope this helps.

      Arian
