Need some Advice.. S40-V40

Ive put about 117000 KMs on my volvo in a lease and I'm no confronted with buying out the car, which it looks like the buyout is below what the market dictates. But I know the car was 90% highway driven and those Kms are inflated on the real status of the car. and it hasnt given me any real issues other than the ususal oxygen sensor , break pads ( the common things associated with thsi car ) If I walk away I have to pay KM overages of a couple thousand... From anyone who reads this could you tell me if you think the S40 is a car worth keeping or its outlived its usefullness being at 117000 KMS ??
Id like to think that volvos are good for a long time. Is this my misconception of the brand or does this car have alot of life left to it ?? ..

117,000 kms is about 70,000 miles American, and highway miles (kms)are easy on a car. You can drive your car for 200,000 miles. Figure what you will have to spend in maintenance versus the cost of a new car less sale of your S40. I always want to get my cost down to 10 cents per mile. Some people like getting a new car. If you still enjoy driving it, keep it. If not, let us know how you like your new S60R.

As you said, 117Kkm highway miles doesn't hurt it. You know this car better than any of us and YOU will have to sit down with a pencil and paper to make a rational decision. Keep or walk away and buy another car. Your S40 should easily go to 200Kkm of highway driving.
If you feel that the electronic's gremlin will show up soon to eat your wallet, then I suggest you factor that into the cost of buying it outright.
